The South Gibson Hornets volleyball team (Medina, TN), was beaten 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN)

The Cardinals (18-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Crockett County (Alamo, TN). The Cavaliers enter the non-league challenge with a 18-6 record. In their last challenge, Crockett County beat Covington (Covington, TN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Milan Bulldogs (Milan, TN) in a AA District 13 challenge, on Monday, September 29. South Gibson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Brighton (Brighton, TN).
