In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Buckhorn Bucks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Homewood Patriots.

The Bucks (26-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Madison County (Gurley, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 20-15 record. In their last test, Madison County went down by Plainview (Rainsville, AL), 3-1, in a league test.

The Patriots now sport a 15-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Briarwood Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. Homewood will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Arab (Arab, AL). The Lions record now stands at 24-3.
