In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Vacaville Bulldogs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Carson Senators.

The Bulldogs (19-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Laguna Creek was nudged by Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Senators play the Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Carson will attempt to advance on its 15-5 season record. The Raiders go into the game with a 17-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA).
