Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Wren improves its record to 21-6 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Emerald (Greenwood, SC) to encounter the Vikings in a AAAA Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. Emerald won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Laurens (Laurens, SC)

Next, the Copperheads meet the Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC) in a AAAAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Catawba Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC).
