The CHAMPS Panthers volleyball team (Van Nuys, CA), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears (San Pedro, CA)

The Polar Bears (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mendez (Los Angeles, CA). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Mendez notched a victory over Robert F. Kennedy Community (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Panthers battle the Triumph Charter Jaguars (Sylmar, CA) in a North Valley contest, on Monday, September 29. CHAMPS will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Jaguars enter the contest with a 15-3 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Mendez (Los Angeles, CA).
