Washington High School Volleyball - Southridge can't hold off Cheney
September 27, 2025: Kennewick, WA 99338 The Cheney Blackhawks tipped the host Southridge Suns volleyball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Blackhawks confront the Shadle Park Highlanders (Spokane, WA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 27. Cheney will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Highlanders enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA).
The Suns (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Kennewick (Kennewick, WA). The Lions enter the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia match with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, Kennewick nipped Moscow (Moscow, ID), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
