September 27, 2025: New Castle, PA 16101 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Clarion-Limestone Lions (Strattanville, PA) and the host Laurel Spartans (New Castle, PA), observed Clarion-Limestone's volleyball squad notch a victory over Laurel by a score of 2-0.
With the win, Clarion-Limestone improves its record to 13-2 on the season. The Lions host Karns City (Karns City, PA) to encounter the Gremlins in a Keystone Shortway battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Gremlins enter the contest with a record of 4-4.
Next, the Spartans meet the Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 6. Laurel will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
