The Mountain Island Charter Raptors volleyball squad (Mt. Holly, NC), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC)

With the win, Community School of Davidson moves its record to 17-4 on the year. The Spartans host Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Bears in a Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A contest on Tuesday, September 30. The Bears enter the contest with a record of 13-7. Bradford Prep won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC)

Next, the Raptors meet the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A contest, on Tuesday, September 30.
