Iowa High School Volleyball - Independence over Davenport West
September 27, 2025: Independence, IA 50644 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Independence Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Davenport West Falcons.
The Mustangs (13-12) will now prepare for their test against Galena (Galena, IL). The Pirates go into the non-league challenge with a 13-0 record. In their last challenge, Galena beat Scales Mound (Scales Mound, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Falcons play the North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Davenport West will attempt to advance on its 2-15 season record. The Lancers go into the test with a 9-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA).
