With the win, Grass Lake improves its record to 9-8 on the season. The Warriors host East Jackson (Jackson, MI) to encounter the Trojans in a Cascades battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 1-11. East Jackson lost 1-0 in their recent league battle against Leslie (Leslie, MI)
The Hornets now own a 19-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Philip Catholic Central for a Southern Central challenge on Tuesday, September 30. Mendon will meet a Fighting Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Three Rivers (Three Rivers, MI). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 18-9.
