Michigan High School Volleyball - Grosse Pointe South tips Marysville

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Marysville Vikings.

The Blue Devils (10-9) will now prepare for their game against Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI). The Eagles go into the Macomb Area - Red game with a 18-2 record. In their last game, Utica Eisenhower was edged by Mercy (Farmington Hills, MI), 2-1, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Marysville drops to 16-9 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI) to play the Titans in a Macomb Area - White outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Titans come into the outing with a record of 1-19. Sterling Heights Stevenson won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI)
