The Mt. Olive Wildcats (Mt. Olive, IL) volleyball held off the visiting Illini Central Cougars (Mason City, IL), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Calvary for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. Mt. Olive will clash with a Saints team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL). The Saints record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Illini Central drops to 3-15 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL) to battle the Cyclones in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 27.
