South Carolina High School Volleyball - Mount Vernon tips John Paul II
September 27, 2025: Ridgeland, SC 22936 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) and the host John Paul II Golden Warrriors (Ridgeland, SC), observed Mount Vernon's volleyball team hold off John Paul II by a count of 2-1.
The Mustangs (21-18) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside (Greer, SC). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Riverside was edged by Dorman (Roebuck, SC), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Golden Warrriors now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bluffton for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27. John Paul II will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to May River (Bluffton, SC). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-13.
