The Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE) volleyball held off the host Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 21-5 record. They play next when they travel to Omaha Central for a A District bout on Tuesday, September 30. Millard South will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league win over Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 8-12.

With the loss, Liberty drops to 8-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Canyon View (Waddell, AZ) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league match on Wednesday, October 1. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 12-5.
