September 27, 2025: Upton, WY 82730 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Upton Bobcats (Upton, WY) and the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD), observed Upton's volleyball squad nudge Sturgis Brown by a score of 2-1.
With the win, Upton improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Midwest (Midwest, WY) to encounter the Oilers in a 1A Northeast battle on Friday, October 3. The Oilers go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Scoopers now own a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hot Springs for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 30. Sturgis Brown will meet a Bison team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Kadoka (Kadoka, SD). The Bison record now stands at 12-11.
