In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Northside Indians (Vernon, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the host Iowa Park Hawks (Iowa Park, TX), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Indians face the Chillicothe Eagles (Chillicothe, TX) in a 1A Region II District 10 contest, on Saturday, October 1. Northside will attempt to better on its 20-12 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 15-9 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Memphis (Memphis, TX).
