September 28, 2023: Chambersburg, PA 17201 The Chambersburg Trojans football team (Chambersburg, PA), was knocked off 35-20 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Cumberland Valley Eagles (Mechanicsburg, PA)
The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA). The Rams come into the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Central Dauphin knocked off Carlisle (Carlisle, PA), 50-16, in a league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Altoona for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth challenge on Friday, October 6. Chambersburg will meet a Mountain Lions team coming off a 54-7 league loss to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 2-4.
