September 28, 2023: Visalia, CA 93277 The Mt. Whitney Pioneers football team (Visalia, CA), was beaten 34-7 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Porterville Panthers (Porterville, CA)
The Panthers (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Redwood (Visalia, CA). The Rangers come into the challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Redwood achieved victory over El Diamante (Visalia, CA), 31-0, in a league challenge.
The Pioneers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Golden West for a challenge on Thursday, October 5. Mt. Whitney will meet a Trailblazers team coming off a 22-12 league win over Monache (Porterville, CA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 5-1.
