Ohio High School Soccer - Central Crossing knocks off Cristo Rey
September 28, 2023: Grove City, OH 43123 Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Cristo Rey Cougar (Columbus, OH), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Comets confront the Bishop Ready Silver Knights (Columbus, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 2. Central Crossing will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Silver Knights enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 3-2 league win over Columbus Academy (Gahanna, OH).
The Cougar now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wellington School for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 30. Cristo Rey will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-8.
