Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 26-22 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Garner betters its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 5. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Southeast Raleigh won 18-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Clayton (Clayton, NC)

The Storm now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cleveland for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 5. Willow Spring will meet a Rams team coming off a 45-6 non-league win over Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Rams record now stands at 6-0.
