The Huskies (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Portage Central was beaten by Central (Battle Creek, MI), 30-24, in a non-league challenge.
The Bears now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mattawan for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 12. St. Joseph will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 25-23 non-league win over Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
