Louisiana High School Volleyball - Frederick A. Douglass overwhelmed by A.J. Ellender
September 28, 2023: Houma, LA 70363 In Thursday's non-league battle, the host A.J. Ellender Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats.
The Patriots (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against South Lafourche (Galliano, LA). The Tarpons come into the Division II District 5 battle with a 6-15 record. In their last battle, South Lafourche achieved victory over Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bobcats encounter the Cabrini Crescents (New Orleans, LA) in a Division II District 6 battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Frederick A. Douglass will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Crescents come into the battle with a 10-15 record after their 3-2 league win over Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA).
