The Belfry Pirates topped the visiting Mingo Central Miners volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Pirates now have a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pikeville for a non-league test on Monday, October 2. Belfry will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Paintsville (Paintsville, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 11-6.

The Miners (8-9) will now prepare for their test against River View (Bradshaw, WV). The Raiders enter the non-league test with a 19-6 record. In their last test, River View was knocked off by James Monroe (Lindside, WV), 3-0, in a non-league test.
