September 28, 2023: Hopkinsville, KY 42240 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY) and the visiting Russellville Panthers (Russellville, KY), saw Christian County's volleyball squad beat Russellville by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Christian County upgrades its record to 13-8 on the year. The Colonels travel to McCracken County (Paducah, KY) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, September 29. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 17-8. McCracken County won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Community Christian (Paducah, KY)
The Panthers now own a 0-18 record. They play next when they travel to Barren County for a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. Russellville will play a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Warren East (Bowling Green, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 20-11.
