Next up, the Pioneers battle the Hialeah Thoroughbreds (Hialeah, FL) in a 5A District 16 contest, on Monday, October 2. North Miami will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Thoroughbreds go into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Booker T. Washington (Miami, FL).
With the loss, Hialeah-Miami Lakes moves to 2-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to Goleman (Miami, FL) to battle the Gators in a non-league contest on Monday, October 2.
