September 28, 2023: Louisville, KY 40216 Holy Cross Cougars (Louisville, KY) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Assumption Rockets (Louisville, KY) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 3. Holy Cross will attempt to advance on its 14-11 season record. The Rockets come into the match with a 25-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Divine Savior Holy Angels (Milwaukee, WI).
With the loss, Larue County drops to 12-10 on the campaign. The Hawks host Marion County (Lebanon, KY) to clash with the Knights in a non-league match on Monday, October 2.
