September 28, 2023: Union City, PA 16438 The Union City Bears (Union City, PA) volleyball overcame the visiting Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.
With the win, Union City upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Bears host Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA) to face the Lakers in a District 10 Region 4 outing on Thursday, October 5. The Lakers go into the outing with a record of 7-9.
The Wildcats now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fort LeBoeuf for a non-league outing on Monday, October 2. Northwestern will face a Bison squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to North East (North East, PA). The Bison record now stands at 6-5.
