Virginia High School Football - Virginia Episcopal School holds off Chincoteague
September 28, 2024: Lynchburg, VA 24503 The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) football tipped the visiting Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA), 1-0 in Saturday's league outing.
The Bishops now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Greenbrier Christian Academy for a Virginia Football I (8 Man) outing on Saturday, October 5. Virginia Episcopal School will clash with a Gators squad coming off a 53-33 league loss to Rappahannock County (Washington, VA). The Gators record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Chincoteague drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Ponies host Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league outing on Friday, October 4. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 3-1. Southampton Academy won 50-36 in their recent league outing against Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA)
