The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Coventry Christian (Pottstown, PA) and the host Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm (Mercersburg, PA), witnessed Coventry Christian's football squad topple Mercersburg Academy by a tally of 38-24.

The (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, PA). The Panthers enter the Keystone State (8 Man) contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Perkiomen School thwarted Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC), 27-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Blue Storm confront the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) in a Keystone State (8 Man) contest, on Friday, October 4. Mercersburg Academy will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Orioles enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 30-24 non-league loss to Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA).
