September 28, 2024: Minneapolis, MN 55403 The Blake Bears soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Minneapolis Southwest Lakers to 1 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bears now hold a 12-0 record. They play next when they travel to Breck for a Class A Section 5 bout on Tuesday, October 1. Blake will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over St. Croix Prep (Stillwater, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Minneapolis Southwest moves to 7-4 on the year. The Lakers travel to Washburn (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Millers in a Class AA Section 6 bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Millers go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Washburn won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN)
