Pennsylvania High School Football - New Castle nudges Aliquippa
September 28, 2024: New Castle, PA 16101 The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the New Castle Hurricanes (New Castle, PA) and the visiting Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA), witnessed New Castle's football squad edge Aliquippa by a tally of 21-14.
The Hurricanes (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Montour (McKees Rocks, PA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Montour was nudged by Mars (Mars, PA), 20-12, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Quips confront the West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 5. Aliquippa will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
