The Highlands Golden Rams football squad scored 22 points and limited the host Deer Lakes Lancers to 6 in the Golden Rams non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Golden Rams now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freeport for a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. Highlands will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Valley (New Kensington, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Deer Lakes drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Beaver (Beaver, PA) to meet the Bobcats in a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 0-0.
