September 28, 2024: Freeport, IL 61032 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL) and the visiting Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL), saw Freeport's soccer squad knock off Dixon by a count of 3-1.
The Pretzels (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies enter the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Harlem tipped Hononegah (Rockton, IL), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Dukes & Duchesses battle the Byron Tigers (Byron, IL) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 2. Dixon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Freeport (Freeport, IL).
