September 28, 2024: Cary, IL 60013 Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lake Zurich moves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL) to clash with the Blue Devils in a North Suburban - Lake test on Tuesday, October 1. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 6-5. Warren Township lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL)
The Trojans now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Prairie Ridge for a Fox Valley test on Tuesday, October 1. Cary-Grove will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 10-3.
