September 28, 2024: Woodstock, IL 60098 DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, DeKalb advances its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Barbs host Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL) to clash with the Wildcats in a DuPage Valley test on Tuesday, October 1. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-5. Neuqua Valley lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL)
The Blue Streaks now have a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South for a non-league test on Sunday, September 29. Woodstock will clash with a Meteors team coming off a 3-0 league win over Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Meteors record now stands at 8-2.
