September 28, 2024: Newark, NJ 07108 In Saturday's league outing, the visiting Glen Ridge Ridgers soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Shabazz Bulldogs.
The Ridgers (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lodi (Lodi, NJ). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Lodi by Palisades Park (Palisades Park, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers (Newark, NJ) in a Super Essex - Independence outing, on Monday, September 30. Shabazz will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 11-0 league win over Weequahic (Newark, NJ).
