Michigan High School Soccer - Roosevelt knocks off Jefferson
September 28, 2024: Monroe, MI 48162 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) and the host Jefferson Bears (Monroe, MI), saw Roosevelt's soccer squad triumph over Jefferson by a score of 8-0.
The Bears (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Taylor (Taylor, MI). The Griffins enter the Downriver battle with a 3-13 record. In their last battle, Taylor was overwhelmed by Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bears confront the Airport Jets (Carleton, MI) in a Huron battle, on Wednesday, October 9. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 1-17 season record.
