Oregon High School Soccer - La Grande toppled by Riverside
September 28, 2024: Boardman, OR 97818 Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting La Grande Tigers (La Grande, OR), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Riverside advances its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host Irrigon (Irrigon, OR) to clash with the Knights in a 3A/2A/1A-SD6 Special District 6 test on Tuesday, October 1. The Knights come into the test with a record of 1-3. Irrigon 1-1 in their recent league test against Umatilla (Umatilla, OR)
The Tigers now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Baker/Powder Valley for a 4A Greater Oregon test on Tuesday, October 1. La Grande will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 league win over Pendleton (Pendleton, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
