Pennsylvania High School Soccer - La Salle College knocks off Springside Chestnut Hill Academy
September 28, 2024: Philadelphia, PA 19118 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the La Salle College Explorers (Wyndmoor, PA) and the host Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils (Philadelphia, PA), saw La Salle College's soccer squad knock off Springside Chestnut Hill Academy by a count of 3-0.
The Explorers (13-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lansdale Catholic (Lansdale, PA). The Crusaders enter the Philadelphia Catholic battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Lansdale Catholic tipped Archbishop Wood (Warminster, PA), 4-0, in a league battle.
With the loss, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy moves to 2-3 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA) to encounter the Patriots in a Inter-Academic challenge on Tuesday, October 1. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Germantown Academy lost 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, PA)
