Maryland High School Soccer - New Town toppled by South Carroll
September 28, 2024: Sykesville, MD 21784 South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting New Town (Owings Mills, MD), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, South Carroll advances its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Manchester Valley (Manchester, MD) to clash with the Mavericks in a MVAL - Blue Ridge test on Tuesday, October 1. The Mavericks come into the test with a record of 3-7. Manchester Valley lost 4-1 in their recent league test against Liberty (Sykesville, MD)
The now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Chesapeake for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. New Town will clash with a Bay Hawks team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Kenwood (Baltimore, MD). The Bay Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
