September 28, 2024: Richfield, MN 55423 The Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) volleyball knocked off the visiting Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Stars now possess a 18-8 record. They play next when they travel to Richfield for a Tri-Metro bout on Tuesday, October 1. Academy of Holy Angels will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Kennedy (Bloomington, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Mahtomedi drops to 20-2 on the campaign. The Zephyrs travel to Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN) to clash with the Spartans in a Metro East bout on Wednesday, October 2. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Simley won 3-1 in their recent league bout against North (North St. Paul, MN)
