September 28, 2024: Decorah, IA 52101 Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kingsland Knights (Spring Valley, MN), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Decorah-North Winneshiek advances its record to 11-6 on the season. The Vikings host South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA) to face the Warriors in a test on Saturday, September 28. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 8-10. South Winneshiek won 3-0 in their recent league test against Postville (Postville, IA)
The Knights now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to LeRoy-Ostrander for a Southeast test on Tuesday, October 1. Kingsland will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-9.
