Minnesota High School Volleyball - Fairmont tips Lester Prairie

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Fairmont Cardinals volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Lester Prairie Bulldogs.

The Cardinals (5-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Kenyon-Wanamingo edged Hayfield (Hayfield, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans (Montgomery, MN) in a Minnesota River challenge, on Saturday, September 28. Lester Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN).
