September 28, 2024: Gladwin, MI 48624 Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Kent City Eagles (Kent City, MI), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Gladwin improves its record to 13-13 on the season. The Flying G's host Alma (Alma, MI) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 9-9. Alma lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI)
The Eagles now own a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Montcalm for a Central State test on Tuesday, October 1. Kent City will face a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lakeview (Lakeview, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 7-8.
