Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Van Nuys Wolves (Van Nuys, CA), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Marquez improves its record to 16-15 on the season. The Gladiators travel to San Pedro (San Pedro, CA) to face the Pirates in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 7-7. San Pedro won 3-0 in their recent league test against Carson (Carson, CA)
