Illinois High School Volleyball - Morris over Putnam County

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Morris Redskins volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Putnam County Panthers.

The Redskins (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sterling (Sterling, IL). The Golden Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Sterling beat Alleman (Rock Island, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers play the Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats (Washburn, IL) in a Tri-County challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Putnam County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL).
