With the victory, Boardman moves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Spartans host Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH) to confront the Falcons in a All-American bout on Saturday, October 2. The Falcons enter the bout with a record of 2-6. Austintown-Fitch lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against GlenOak (Canton, OH)
In their next game, the Braves confront the Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH) in a Northeastern bout, on Thursday, September 30. Badger will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 9-1 record after their 4-0 league win over Maplewood (Cortland, OH).
