In Thursday's league match, the visiting Timberline Blazers football squad scored a close 38-36 victory over the Gig Harbor Tides.

In their next game, the Blazers clash with the North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) in a 3A South Sound match, on Friday, October 7. Timberline will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 63-0 league loss to Yelm (Yelm, WA).
