The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Rule Bobcats (Rule, TX) and the host Guthrie Jaguars (Guthrie, TX), observed Rule's football squad edge Guthrie by a count of 44-38.

The Bobcats now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Woodson for a 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 7 (6 Man) contest on Friday, October 7. Rule will play a Cowboys squad coming off a 55-6 non-league loss to Rising Star (Rising Star, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-5.
