In Thursday's league game, the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) football team smashed the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), by a score of 76-0.

The Golden Lions (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Yellow Jackets come into the 1A/2A West Conference 40 game with a 2-5 record.
